I sure hope you've at least tried the kilt on for fit. It would be terrible to find it didn't fit on your wedding day.

Yes I have, and that has made the waiting even more brutal!

I don't think I could have persuaded my wife to have taken my tartan. She'll be a McQuarrie to her death bed. Plus I don't know what we would do about that clan badge on her lower back.
Good times, man. I guess (and I hope I'm not assuming too much) that waiting to wear the kilt is better than waiting for other things.

I'm married six years now (to my beautiful and loving best friend Peggi) and have only one bit of marriage advice for you. "Don’t forget that it's all Mind over Matter ... she doesn't Mind, and you don't Matter".
Seriously ... good luck and congratulations!

happy thoughts
Our priest, who is also her cousin, sat us down the day before (in a pub, over a pint) and said "Only you two know what is supposed to happen. If it doesn't happen as planned, no one else is going to know, so don't worry if all of the details aren't exact." Lot's of stuff was not quite right and nobody noticed. Congrats!
And you may ask yourself, Well how did I get here?

Congrats
I must extend my congratulations as well as an Irish toast that has become a traditional at my family's weddings,
"May you be buried in a coffin made from 100 year old oak, and may you and your loved one plant the tree tomorrow."
Cheers,

Congratulations paul, the plan with the sash sounds wonderful, heck I wish I'd known about kilts when I was married.
How about a thread on wedding photos? I'll see if I can start one.
