    Jimmy,

It wasn't ME! I promise you, it wasn't ME!! But, yes, that is precisely what that fellow had gone in for - and it worked for him. Personally, I just couldn't bear the thought of any form of tattoo being put anywhere on my body - but he had done it.

Oh, the briefs were kept on ONLY for the duration of the dancing displays, I promise you Graham. Not a moment longer than necessary! First thing, back in the dressing room, was to "get 'em off!"

Boxers, and compression shorts (as mentioned by Cyndi) are, in my opinion, far too long in the leg to be worn under a kilt. At almost every upward flick of the pleats they will be visible, but it takes a fairly energetic spin to make briefs visible to your audience ...... and that's from the horse's mouth!! There's nothing offensive about the occasional split second glimpse of a pair of dark coloured briefs, but I'd hate to see a guy's shorts practically every time he turns a corner!

Actually, it's pretty rare for these 'boxer briefs' to show. The leg part is only two inches (4cm) long -- a lot shorter than the baggy type of boxers -- and it fits right against the skin. Compression shorts are considerably longer, and as Hamish says, they will show during vigorous activity. That's why we just recommend them to athletes that want the extra support.

Or, as I've heard it called around the ladies' locker room, 'butt floss'...

The "Hanes" or "Fruit of the Loom" Boxer-Briefs are actually a GREAT choice, especially when they're in black or tan. They really don't show unless you're "break-dancing". They're also MUCH more comfortable than the briefs. Unlike boxers, they'll also keep you from clacking during the faster dances.

Might throw-off the other dancers with an alternate cadence.

Personally, I am quite partial to a bit of clacking on the dance floor

    Oh, behave....! **

    Take care,
    Ham.
