Hi all! I'm back from Las Vegas! This thread is perfect for a place I visited. It was at the Rio hotel & casino. That name of the place was the Tilted Kilt!
The waitresses looked very close to this!
.
I hope this isn't too much for the more conservative members of the board.
The men in the bar wore what looked like a tablecloth wrapped around their waist and held on by a belt.

Not perzackly a kilt, but definitely not hard on the eyes!
I presume the wedding went well so I will offer my congratulations.

If it ever happens Hamish, I'd be happy to join you, kilted of course!
There probably are kilt owners in your area, but who reserve their kilt for 'special occasions'. Maybe a kilt night would encourage them to get their pleats swinging!

Hmmmmn! You could be right Martin, but it's highly probable that they'd not be of the 'pub frequenting' fraternity, knowing the type of people who live around these parts!
However, if anything of the sort gets going, I'll let you know. It's been suggested that I organise another kilts event/weekend sometime (the last one was about five years ago, maybe longer). You're on my mailing list now, Martin!!

Thanks Hamish,
Please do let me know if you're planning anything, it would be great to meet with you and others.
As for mailing lists, I seem to spend half my life trying to unsubscribe from them, however, I'm delighted to be on yours Ham

Thanks Big Paul,
I've been to Vegas a lot, its just down the road a few hours. Never been to the Rio and didn't know about the Tilted Kilt.
Will put it on my list for the Las Vegas Highland games next month. Hope to make it over there.

We also visited Fado' in the Green Valley Ranch. It's a very cozy pub with great food! You can pick up a free shuttle to GVR at Mandalay Bay.
