out and about
It was a balmy 36 degrees(***) so I told my wife I'm going to rebel against pants today, SO I declared it to be anti-pants day!!
I went to our local mall today with some friends to watch a movie and I wore my new kilt, it is the Pride of Scotland.
A couple of ladies came up to me and said that I look great .
Overall I had a good time watching the young ladies smile at me and a few winks to boot. I have to do that again
Thanks for all of the encouragement that you guys give. My next day out will be this thursday St. Paddy's day.So have a Guinness on me lads
Or whatever you may have.

Three beers for anti-pants day!
An official date of March 13th. OK for everyone? But feel free to celebrate it daily if you wish.

A treat for a friend is to walk the mall kilted a ways in front of them.
Your friend gets to see/hear all the double takes, second looks, comments, etc. after folks pass you.

Well done! Just get a few more kilts now so every day can be Anti-Pants Day. I'm still about one or two shy of being able to go out kilted every day so I always get the "why are you wearing pants?" comments on laundry day.

Luckily I will be able to sport a different UK this whole week, but only because it's uber St.Patrick's Day. Like a comet, it only comes around every few years, March Maddness and St. Patrick's day at the same time!
Anyhow, no pants day has become a more frequent occurance for me at least. Unfortunately, even in the PNW, suburban Malls still don't exatly love the kilt. Maybe I just appear to be surly lookking
Naah, just more yuppy larvae not sure of themselves and attacking anything that's different. Still a great time to go out. I find that after a while you don't even notice it.

So far it's been no pants day for the last year. No way I'm going back.
