    Bear,

Great shots! It is great to see kiltmakers from all over getting together, and I too am impressed with Steve when I met him a couple of years ago at Estes Park.

Hope that it was a successful endeavor for you!

The parade was great yesterday, and the open air market was really fun. I stopped by the Bear Kilts/ Doolin's booth, just as they were getting set up. It's great to see Vancouver celebrating the Celtic heritage of the city and the country. I got a few questions about my kilt and sent some people right up Granville in Bear's direction. Anyone in the Northwest (US) or Southwest (Canada) should really try and check celticfest out sometime.

We had a great time! I've already got several orders from people who stopped by the booth. Today was very busy at the store, too.
David and Sten Rune will be happy to know that Raphael lent me his Freelander Sporran for display use. It was highly praised and I think one of the three I have coming is probably sold. I'm keeping one for myself, of course!
One of the things Steve and I talked about was how well the kiltmakers get along. The topic came up when I was telling him about The Gathering.

Bear, Congrats. on what looked like a great and enjoyable time.

I am pleased too that you got to spend a while with Steven. He's such a great guy and a very good friend. Megan and Steven spent a couple of days at my home three years ago when they came over for the first "Men in S----s" Exhibition at London's Victoria and Albert Museum. I hope to catch them when Dave W. and I come over for The Gathering in August.

Hey, Colin, it's great to see someone who knows to call our area the South West! I do the same. I love the Pacific Northwest and used to work out of Seattle, but where we live is the South West of Canada.
Looks like a great event last weekend.
    Cheers,
    David

    I mentioned The Gathering.
Raphael has been in touch with someone at Utilikilts but I wanted to invite Steve personally. I mentioned you would be there, as well as all the other guys in kilts who will attend.
We only had enough time to chat for me to decide he was interesting enough to get to know better.
