Barb,

Loved the photos, the kilts looked wonderful. Paint me green with envy!!

I do have a request. Next time you post multiple photos, will you please post them one over the other rather than side by side? Sliding the screen back and forth trying to read the thread was a bigger pain in the neck than your average politician.

If you really need a pair of pants or another garment, you live in the USA and don't want to buy something made in some obscene sweatshop, then go here:

    http://buy-usa-made.com/clothing.htm

and read about the clothing you want to buy. Here are some other links:

    http://www.nosweatapparel.com/
    http://www.sweatx.net/
    http://www.justiceclothing.com/thereis/justice/

    and a personal favorite...gramicci

    http://www.rei.com/online/store/Sear...cm_cat=Apparel

Re-visit the URL I put up earlier:

    http://www.uri.edu/personal/svon6141...nsweatshop.htm

...and scroll to the bottom. You'll find a listing of several outfits that sell bifurcated mens garments (blue jeans), but don't pay their workers twenty three lousy cents an hour in some horror of a toxic torture chamber where they're forced to work 60 hour weeks.

As you can see, I'm kind of passionate about this.

You can also buy a kilt, eh?

Uh - oops, sorry. I guess I don't know how to do that. I'll have to ask Rufus.

I maybe wrong, not that much on an unusual occurance, but I think that if you insert the links as (no space between the img brackets.)

I think the photos will show up side by side.

If you insert the images as:

(hitting enter to drop down a line after every image bracket) I'm pretty sure they will be put in vertically.

Well, huh. I put them in exactly as you indicated, and, in my browser, they come out vertically, as yours did.

In fact, the page with my original post looks fine in my browser, and you don't have to scroll horizontally to see everything. The page break in my browser comes after Kilted Bishop's post (3 down from my original one), and it's on the _next_ page that I, too, have the scrolling problem.

So, was it me or somebody else that did the nasty?? I'd love to know, because, if it was me, I don't want to do it again!

    Man, those kilts are gorgeous!!

I had a gig in Fullerton last weekend that was a chamber/new music thing and the bandleader insisted on jacket and tie for the guys (he allowed for the kilt "if it looked dressy" meaning like I was wearing a suit). A black or midnight blue kilt of this caliber would've been smokin' up on that stage! Especially with this jacket design I'm working on (my wife seems to think it'll look great with a kilt) just gotta find someone to make it for me...

Anyway, those pix are so great I just had to add my kudos, Barb!

    Barb,

You're orignal post has the first two pics side by side and the third underneath (at least that's how it looks on my browser).

Doc's post has them all one on top of the other.

In any case, great pictures! I really like the Weathered Ferguson.

    Hi guys

Thanks for the comments on the kilts!!

I like the Weathered Ferguson, too. It's also one of those tartans that looks kind of blah pleated to the sett and looks a whole lot sharper pleated to the stripe.

I think I'll just stick to posting one pic at a time! Here's another of my all-time favorite kilt pictures. It's my daughter at Tioram Castle in Scotland. Tartan is Dress Wine Sutherland.

I have to agree with the gang, though, Barb. Those are mighty nice looking kilts you've stitched up in those pics. Like...bloody gorgeous.
