I don't want kilts to go mainstream.

I fell into that trap for a short while after "discovering" them for myself but honestly I like that they are different from what the homogenized masses wear on a daily basis. There is room for more kilt wearers but in no way would I prefer to have them become a common garment.

That said, if any kilt makers want some cheap but effective marketing, put me in a kilt and one of your company tee shirts, give me a sporran full of business cards and about $100-$150 for my bar tab. I'll generate more hits to your web site in one weekend than an ad in a magazine. And I'll have a great time doing it.
