Hello From Myrtle Beach
Just a note to say hello to everyone. I've been reading the forums for a while and finally got around to signing up. I've been slowly breaking my friends and family into my frequent kilt wearing and have met with an amazing amount of positive support.
Thanks for haveing such a great forum!

Eighties... we're glad that you're joining the fray!
I, personally, just hope that your screen-name doesn't mean that you're wearing your kilts with big hair, rolled-up jacket sleeves, and a mullet.
Since you've been reading here already, you know that you'll have a good time!

Well time and nature have reduced the big hair and mullett to a creatively combed everyday cut, but I still roll the sleeves up on my jacobite shirts. LOL!

Eighties,
A warm welcome to you from just a few hours away.
Good to have another Carolinian on the board.

Welcome,
S.C. seems to be a hotbed of kilted activity.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes!
Kiltedmusiclover yes it is good to see other Carolinians out there, I'd love to hear from more of you. I can't speak for all areas of the Carolinas, but aside from the local pipe band I haven't encountered any other kilted men in my area. I can say that I've only recently added the kilt to my daily wardrobe and thus far have been surprised at the positive reactions from family, friends and co-workers. I hope I'll be a good contributer to these boards with the encounters I've had so far.
Thanks again!
Chris
