    Traditional Kilt Belt Buckles...

I know about the thousands of buckle options available for the casual kilt belts, but I would REALLY love to see some submissions on the buckles that are available for TRADITIONAL kilt belts.

Stacey found this one at Highland Heritage in Delaware on Saturday. It looks AWESOME with the green kilts. This certain design also came in red, blue and silver. Edit: shoot! I forgot that they have it in black too.

If memory serves, it was around $50 (usd).

    That is a refreshing design..

The kilt belt buckle with the celtic knots in the four corners is seen everywhere, it is a great idea to start a thread on alternatives.

    Ooooooooooooooooo

I hadn't seen the purple one! What a surprise that it was sold-out in a (primarily) Scottish store!

Not sure what the exchange rate is with the Canadian dollar these days, but I can only HIGHLY recommend the looks of this buckle!

I saw another one on there that looked mighty tasty!

Click on the picture of the buckle you like. The prices are liste din both US and Canadian. A bit more expensive than the $50 US, but still not a bad price. I still prefer the plain silver to the coloured versions http://216.71.156.105/media/buckle_newthistle.jpg

For Buckle options try talking to Cyndi at The Thistle Stop. She has quite a few!

I'm diggin' the Clan Crest buckles.

I STILL think that there's GOT to be some other options. I too am getting REAL tired of the "same old, same old".
