New Rule

New Rule:

If you dont agree with a topic and feel you must post something saying as much then dont post a reply. If you dont care about a topic then dont post a reply.
If you dont have anything constructive to add to a post then dont reply.

I am getting tired of squabbles just b/c some folks feel they must "add their thoughts" to a thread. From now on thread hijacking is subject to deletion by mods or admin w/o explanation.

Either I'm not reading the right threads, or I'm the unknowing culprit!

I know that I tend to go-off on tangents with threads, but then that's what this brain does (as you well know).

Sorry if I've been in on any of that! If it wasn't me...

Good rule Hank! I too wish that if people didn't have an interest in the topic, or have nothing constructive to add, skip the thread.

I wasnt targeting any one person. It mainly has to do with non-kilt issues.

The point is that there is no reason to try and raise a stink if no stink is necessary (which is most of the time).

If you object to a post then move on. That is a standing rule from now on. That is not to say that I will let anything go either though so just mind your manners folks.

It is frustrating to look for feedback only to have the topic changed radically.

Its also frustrating to be following a thread, get an email that there's a post, take the time to log on to see the new post, then find the post is a brief bit of Pablum.
