How sad am I?
Ok, so 7 1/2 months ago my then brand new Survival UK tore, and I sent it back for exchange. Less than a week later they institute the recall on all of them. I am told that by November I should have a replacement with the second generation. Sure enough in Nov people who had the tan ones were getting replacements, and shows were getting BLACK ones. However there was still a problem with the Sage. Dec, nothing. January, I called again and was told that they were finally coming in the next day and mine would be shipped out.
However, a few days before someone posted to the UK yahoo group that the second generations did not have the nanotech treatment. UKHQ confirmed this. Now every pair of light colored pants I ever had have ended up stained very quickly (too much Taco Bell in the car). So I ask if I can get a black one instead. Yes, I'm told, but it will be another 6 weeks because that is when the next batch is due.
Last week I finally get the news that it is shipped and will be here today. Unfortunately the UPS guy usually delivers very late to my house, and I had a busy afternoon. Anyway, I leave the house at 12:00 to run errands, and then make a 1:30 appointment. Three blocks from my house I see a UPS van parked by the side of the road. I immediately turn around and head home figuring screw the errands I can wait till 12:45 to get to the appointment.
At 12:42 UPS pulls up and hands me the package. 3 min to wrap it on, grab my keys and wallet and head out the door. At least I made the appointment (which BTW was a Dr. visit for my wife - it's official kid number 2 is on the way).

Aye Adam,
Ain't it amazing how all the hassles and frustration melt away when its finally delivered and you can open it up and wrap it on?
Somewhere, there should be contest for the most frustrationg UK story.
My 12 week jones for my first UK, the unraveling seams, bad snaps, et.al. pale before your tale.
