kiss & keelie...
I would be nice to invite the "journalist" concerned for a pint or two in Glasgow where he could voice his opinions and then gain first hand experience of an anciant Scots custom called the "glasgow kiss"
No doubt the "Glasgow kiss" would be administered by a "Glesca Keelie", or someone who sees a Saturday night brawl as a means of recreation?
The old Highland Light Infantry (HLI), stationed in Glesca at Maryhill Barracks, used to be known as the "Glesca Keelies".
Cheers,
Todd
