The Scottish Play...
My father was an amateur Shakespearean actor when I was growing up, so I was quite aware of the curse of "the Scottish play" and how superstitious actors can be regarding the play's reputation. Dad always had a St. Genesius medal sewn into all of his costumes (St. Genesius is the patron saint of actors) for good measure.
