If you get a chance, find their CLASH OF THE TARTANS album, and listen to their rendition of AULD LANG SYNE. Gotta be the best ever. If only the pipe band came out at Burns Dinners playing like THAT.

I'm a Murphys fan myself, a good rat, and I also enjoy another kilted group: Enter the Haggis
They are an excellent band out of Canada. The centerpeice of the band is the pipes.

ps: new real mckenzies due in august, its already recorded feat. Fat McMichael on bass (Fat Mike from NOFX) and the old Good Riddance drummer.

yeah i hear ya about touring! they r from van (i am in vic) and i never get a chance lol always touring states and europe lol. they r playing seattle on sat. which if u look on a map is sooooo close but it would end up costing me like $400. lol
