Well I'm off to a good start with my kilt making. so far I have the pleats
sewn down, that took better part of a day!
I am having a little trouble though. When I got to the part on doing the apron shaping, where it shows sewing down the inner pleat I not quite sure about what is ment by permently tacking down the inverted pleat, this is on page 88.Not sure what to tack it toThe same goes for the left apronon page 89. BASTE THROUGH THREE THIKNESSES ONLY.
What three thicknessesSo I skipped this part for now and shapped the outside edges of the aprons. I could use some pointers on this.
I'm using a camiflage material for this project. As Bubba and Bikercelt said my wife laughed and said your not touching that good tartan until I see what you have done![]()
Oh well wifes are funny critters sometimes![]()
