The MacBitseach tartan
Okay, it's time to show off the MacBitseach tartan.
I designed a lot of tartans before coming up with this one. I looked at tartans that were hidden, bold, subdued, and colours that you wouldn't normally think of putting together. I even designed kilts of different coloured pleats!
In the end I liked this one too much to choose any other.

I was wondering when you were going to let us in on the new tartan.
I don't know what the others looked like, but I certainly like this one. To me, the dominant color changes from green to blue depending on where I focus my eye. Neat effect!
So, is it going to be available in poly/vis, or just wool. What weight?

Doggone your hide Bear!!!
Ye've gone and done it again!!! Now I have yet another tartan to add to my wish list!!!
Sure does look good.
If any of you gents are like me and have a lamp above your monitor shining on the keyboard, turn it off for a moment. The colours of the tartan are even more vibrant when they aren't washed out by bright light.

It's a mighty fine looking tartan Bear. What with that and the Celtic Pride tartan in your wardrobe, you'll be the best dresses guy at kilt nights.
As for the tattoo, I assume you are talking about the clan crest with fey written above it. If so, instead of just looking at the arms, why not thinking about the back, dead centre between the shoulders? Not as many people will see it, but it's not for them. The design would look good there too.

That is definately a good looking tartan. I think it's a bit bright for me. Any plans for a muted variation?
Cheers,
Rick

Nope.
Toning it down would defeat the purpose of a tartan called MacBitseach.
It's supposed to be as bold as it is.
I realise that may not be to everyone's taste but I'm just smart enough to know that you can't make a tartan that everyone will love.

No worries mate
I have often remarked that you can't please everybody, so you might as well please yourself. (Although pleasing the wife is a very good idea too )
Cheers

IF... you get this rolling and decide to make the kilts, just let me know. You KNOW that I'm IN.
With the translation... it's a natural for me.
