After completing my kilt, I decided to make a sporran. I think it looks pretty good - passable anyway.

My question is this. Does it need to be worn using a belt or chain arrangement, around the waist, or can it be hung directly from the kilt belt using a couple of short leather straps?

I would prefer the latter because of the simplicity. Any thoughts or pictures?
