My vote would be to keep the name, and the color scheme (if/when you switch to a new forum software). But perhaps consider tweaking the look & feel just a tad. i.e. the logo on the upper left corner is very minimalist but now that you have a badge that looks good, maybe that should be the new logo for the top banner? And that dead area off to either side (whichi looks to take up over a third of the vertical column space, combined) could be filled with a muted version of the proposed Xmarks tartan.
