Fast way to break in boots. Get em soaking wet then wear em all day. The leather will form nicely to your feet.
LOL!!!! That brought back great memories for basic training. I ended up at Ft Dix NJ for basic and I remember the day after we all went to the Quartermasters, and returned for getting medical shots and a hair cut, the Drill Instructor made us all march through a creek for about 50 yards with our new boots and continued on to a slow paced (no pack) ten mile march.

By the time we got back to the barracks the boots fit like a glove. We did the same thing with our other pair the next day and I have to admit, I never had a more comfortable pair of boots.

For those who are interested.... US Army 1981-87, 91B - Field Medic, did Basic @ Ft Dix NJ, Advance training @ Ft Sam Houston TX, transferred back to Ft Dix Walson Army Medical Center and then in 1983 tranfered to the USAR and assigned to the 1st Army, 361st Medical Evacuation Unit, Hon Discharge from the USAR in 1987.

Yup Brian, the method might be crude but it sure is effective. I just put new boots in the bathtub and let em soak for a bit. Once they're good and wet I pull em on and wear em. Just need to spend as much time as possible on your feet til they dry

However I do like the x-amples that every one has posted.
By the way, I agree with Bubba. Ya gotta get them wet and wear them until they dry.
