Magnus - I work right off Rt 29 as well ... we will have to meet up for lunch, or a beer(s) after work some time.

Declan - On Rt 202 I can make it from the state line to Kildares in about 40 min or less in non-rush hour traffic. Now Rt 202 can be a pain in the butt with the lights, but when you get up towards West Chester it's all highway until you get to Kildares.

Brian, if you DO make it to Kildare's on the 16th, that's our wedding day.

Barleyjuice, The Hooligans, and "The Pride of Erin" dance school will be all be performing at our Wedding Hooley earlier in the day at Kildare's. We're going to return at 10:00 for The Hooligans gig with a load of people. It's a FULL day of "Irish"!

It's a "piece-of-cake" drive right up 202. Just head to the mall an look on your left RIGHT before you get to the mall. Turn left at the Exxon, and you're there!

FYI... there's a Kildare's "Hooley" from 6-10 for the paying public. You "might" want to look into it for a whole evening. Also be warned that parking could be tight... so use the free valet.

Declan, call Les and get your pleats up here!!!

Yeah I'll say we do. I work over on Great Valley Pkwy, just off 29 in Malvern. If you know the Boat House, I'm back in that office park.

Hell Ya .. Im on Valley Stream Parkway, just one light down from you. I go to the Boathouse (FoxBarn) quite a bit, if vendors are buying I go to the Desmond. I also hear talk about a bar in Malvern on King St that supposedly has over 100 brands of beers, 20 or so are on tap. Never been there, but it might be worth looking into.

When you go to the Boat House, are you normally wearing the kilt or are you bifurcated instead?

I go there with the guys from the office from time to time and the people there generally don't seem to be used to kilts.

Except that one time downstairs... oy... it'll take a couple of beers before I let that story fly.

Hey all, I'm new to the forums.

Its great to see some events going on in my neck of the woods! I thought I might be one of the few kilted people in Delaware.

As for the kilt night, i probably wont make it out, but maybe later...

    Hey welcome aboard, Gerald.

The Philadelphia area has a great crew of kilters and we try to get together once a month or so. No set schedule. It just sort of happens.

Rocky put a bunch of dates up in this thread for shows that he is going to. Tomorrow is national Buy A Gun Day so that's where my beer money is going this week but next week I plan on making it out on the 22nd.

Hope to see you at an upcoming gathering.

    Magnus
