I may have jumped the gun a bit. Jeff hasn't committed to doing it for me yet because I had some special requests that he's not sure if he can fulfill or not. Namely, I asked for no chrome hardware. Just black. He's got to check with his suppliers for the availability of black hardware.
Once I get the word from him, I'll be in line for the camo kilt.
As for the "other" kilt... well... it's a secret right now. He hasn't agreed to do it yet. But it's something that builds on some of his other innovations so I think he's the best man to make it. But you will know it's the one I'm referring to now when you see it. That much I can promise.

OK the jonesing can now officially begin. I've been left a bit up in the air WRT whether or not Jeff can do this. But he was able to find some black nylon snaps to replace the shiny chrome metal ones so the chrome elimination is a go. My order is in the queue!
He's got a dark green chamois that he says should work well as a liner to increase the wind resistance of the otherwise lightweight MARPAT fabric. Should also help in the cold of deer season. Unintended bonus is the plastic snaps should be quieter when I'm moving than the metal.
I did opt for the sporran made in the same MARPAT fabric.

Magnus, I'm joining you in jonesing now. I called Rocky this afternoon about ordering a traditional from USA. Unfortunatly it was after 5PM, so I'm now waiting for him to return my call. I play in a morning senior golf league, so I'll probably miss his return call. Now, I'm in a preliminary jonesing state even before placing my order.

My wife talked me into getting the Modern Gordon. The others were too different from her dress with the MacNeil tartan fly plaid. I still want something a little different, so I can see a possible XMARKS tartaned Casual in my future. (gotta do something with this years bowling league prize money)

Finally managed to connect with Rocky and after a few measurement questions placed my order for a modern Gordon traditional. Now the real Jonesing begins.

I may change it next year, I came up wiyth one the other day which no one (including myself) thought about.
KILTIC.
I checked and it is available now. If it is when my plates come due again I may get it. I really like it because it combines the ideas of KILTS and CELTIC into one word.

The five week jones for my Ramsay blue from USA K was worth it.
Nice "anniversary" gift, too!

Ain't it great, Rocky moves along at a real good clip and I sure do appreaciate it! Speaking of jonesing, I'm into month 5 for my edzzel from Alexis Malcolm. The upside is I knew what the wait was when I ordered and had a confirmed delivery date from the begining. Come on May 9th!!
