Warmest of welcomes, Enzayer!
My wife and I will soon be in your area. We're moving to Cary next month.
Maybe we can organize a kilt nite in the area.
Glad to have you on board

Thanks all. Hopefully when I find out how my kilt and I get along, i'll have pics for everyone. And I would be interested in that kilt night, plus there are plenty of places to do it out here in Chapel Hill.

Welcome Enzay!
What type of kilt did you get, and/or what tartan?

I got a Stillwater economy in the Black Watch tartan. I've read on the board that some people don't like them, but for a new wearer that was in sticker shock when starting out they are a great deal. I'm thinking that my next one will probibly be from bear though. His stuff looks snazy, and well made.

Well I got it in my hands last night and imediatly put it on. Right after I fastened it I was amazed at how much I really liked it. I'm definetly getting another more expensive one, but for a first kilt this is just fine. I got comments on it from some guys on the dorm hall and they thought it was interesting too. There is one slight problem, but I can post that in the advice board where it belongs. In closeing "I LOVE MI KILT!"

Thanks for the welcome Inaki(sorry about the missing tilde but my comp can't type it). The addiction is better than many, but sometimes it looks to be hard on the old wallet. I will survive though......hopefully. (How long can a college student live off ramen?)
I actually found the answers to my questions in the advice board; so no post there for me.
