I have a snap set, and I was contemplating adding snaps to the rest of my kilts like my survival has.
On the one hand, it would let me wear them without belts.
On the other hand, it also means the floating waistband goes away and the kilt is much less adjustable. As I tend to gain/lose about 15 lbs over the course of the year (I get winter fat - must need the insulation) the floating waistband helps.
I wear belts all the time anyway so its more or less moot for me, but its something to consider if you fluctuate in weight like I do.
