There Must Be Something Wrong With Me..

On the PK site, in the fabric selections, there is a pic of little Chinese dragons and flames.

I have seen this pic often, and laughed at it, and concluded to my self that it was a joke.

Today, as I sat eating some yogurt, I realized, suddenly, that I desired a kilt made from this material. I am praying that this desire passes, as it really would be obnoxious to the eye.

Please, somebody, talk some sense into me. I believe I may have suffered some brain injury that I am not aware of, or, mayhap, my brain is getting even with me for making it work hard.

Brother...dont do this. You dont really want too. Its an ugly fabric, cheap, and abnoxious. Plus, what the heck is it gonna be pleated too? I dont know, bit if I saw someone wearing this kilt? around, I would just shake my head and keep walking and tell my girlfriend to make fun of him. I hope I helped...

But I could see this in a two tone kilt... Peeking out 'neath the pleats...

    Arr... Here there be dragons!

Douglasses have laid claim to battling dragons. We even have a Salamander as a symbol for our protection from fire. In light of this, something about that design appeals to me. In Black and Gray Douglas colours, with this as a fabric between the pleats... Hrm.

I dont know. I find it a bit loud for a kilt. It takes away from what a kilt is. It looks nore like a costume or a cheap shirt.

I could see that as a two tone, the colors would add nice flashes in contrast to the black and grey. But you might want to get a swatch of the colors and see in person, it's hard t ojudge based on the colors shown on a computer screen,

Not to mention our amaziing ability to find ourselves in the thick of everything and surviving 8)

At most that would be interesting peeking out between the pleats of a two tone.

I dont want to make claims for Jeff, and it may not be where he got that material but I have seen that exact same pattern at Walmart. If you're interested in seeing what it looks like in person and dont want to wait for a swatch.

Something about that fabric appeals to me.

    I am a sick man.

I like loud garish colours, and I love tropical prints. Something about this must catagorize as "tropical print."

    I blame defective mental programming.
