New Jacket
I have been looking for a nice jacket to wear with my kilts for about a year now. My local shop had nothing of interest, and money was never right. Finally last month, I checked out Scottishkilts.net as a reference from someone at kiltmen.com. To make a long story short, I found a really nice jacket and waistcoat in Charcoal tweed for $380 Canadian. The service was fantastic, and Scottishkilts was able to get the jacket and waistcoat to me for a good friend's wedding this past weekend. I even got a 6 am wake up call from Glasgow to find out the deadline for getting the jacket. Apparently they didn't have the jacket in my size at the time, so it was made from scratch.
Anyway, that jacket and waistcoat are outstanding, and more than I imagined. David McSweeny and the staff at Scottish kilts were excellent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Colin,
CONGRATULATIONS on the new jacket. Sounds that your homework paid off with that personal service. Now get out of bed and wear the bloody thing

As soon as this damn sinus infection is healed up and I can think again, I will be finding any excuse to wear my new jacket. My sister is getting hitched in August, so it will definitley be coming to the wedding.
By the way, I posted a few pics in my gallery of the wedding last weekend.

Very nice, Colin.
Thanks for posting. Have been thinking of getting a jacket, myself.

Wow Colin! The jacket looks even better than I imagined!
That's one smart looking jacket, and I'd be a liar if I didn't say I was coveting it right now.
Keep your dirty paws off my jacket, or that Maple Leaf traditional may go missing
