history on companies
G'day all, just surfing ebay tonight, came across 2 companies I have not heard of before. First one being
www.kilt-4-u.com. their 5 yards look ok and price is nice.
Second is royal mile in edinburgh.
Interestingly enough they use the same picture for avertising their kilts.
Any info on these kilts would be appreciated, wether about quality etc.
Both advertise that the kilts are a poly - wool blend with soft cotton lining. both advertise on ebay.
Cheers to all Andrew

In general, on eBay, if a seller uses the same picture for all of their goods, STAY AWAY.... you don't know exactly what you will get....
The URL you posted doesn't work. That's not a good sign, either....

Some how, an "S" was dropped from the URL
Try http://www.kilts-4-u.com./. This URL works for me and prices are not in the el cheapo range. It doesn't look like a typical e-Bay cheap kilt peddler.
On closer examination, your first opinion might be closer to correct than I thought. Prices for the 5-Yard Kilt are 69.00 Pounds Sterling, 8-Yard kilts run 189.00 Pounds. And they have a limited number of tartans available.

Without looking up the specifics of the companies, I remind you that not all kilt companies MAKE their kilts. Many are just bought and re-sold either from a major mill or from "other places"
