I've been waiting more than five months for my first kilt to arrive - a Bear Kilt Classic. So while I can't comment on the kilt itself, nor compare it to any other style from Bear, it's really really nice, while I'm impatiently waiting, to hear all these nice comments.

I have a classic cut 8yarder
I'm really pleased with it it's just great. Really soft to touch too and, easy to care for.

can anyone explain the differences, or link to somewhere on Bear's site where it does? Maybe I'm just missing it, but i haven't seen it.

Enzayer, let me further note on the Grizzly Cut kilts that I own. I have the ability to make a straight-up kilt, so I chose to go with one of Bear's other designs... the Grizzly. I tend to get the kilts that companies offer as originals. With the quality of the sewing and pleating, the Grizzly is wonderful! Next to my handsewns, it's BY FAR the best constructed kilt that I own. No one even comes CLOSE with the pleat hang and uniformity.
