That's the kind of belt that I've been using since I got my first kilt. I got it here: www.uniwearonline.com but don't bother looking because the site is way screwed. Look here instead: http://www.stationhouse.com/uniforms...rowne_belt.jpg

I first tried the standard-width belt I had on hand, but on the kilt it looked insubstantial and silly. I nixed the idea of the kilt belt and buckle because to my eye they look rather gaudy. The police officer at my school (yes, there is a cop at my school every day) suggested the Sam Browne belt. I ended up buying both the basketweave and the plain. They look really good on all my kilts. Of course, that means when I order a kilt I have to remember to request extra-large belt loops.

As long as we're talking about cop clothing, this is a good kilt accessory:

Minus the badge, it's a cool-looking shirt with the kilt. A friend of mine told me that the shirt made me look imposing, and only a little while later did he realize I was wearing a standard part of the LAPD uniform.
