A very pretty lass, your daughter is, and it looks like she's picked a good fellow.

    Congratulations all around.

Many congratulations Graham, it would certainly be a coup if the groom wore a kilt.

    Aye, guid on them!

Aye, Guid on your daughter and her husband-to-be, Graham and don't forget the lucky horseshore (with a wee bit o' tartan around it).

    What about a piper?

    Cheers,

    Todd

Congratulations to you and your daughter Graham. Weddings are always a joyous event. I do dread the day that some guy says he is taking my daughter away from me. Of course she is only two so I have some time.

As for a jacket check out www.scottishkilts.net I know you have dealt with them in the past, and the quality of the jackets is outstanding (and reasonably priced).

I think it was only about 3 weeks ago I attended a Scottish musical performance entitles A Scottish Wedding. With music and dance they took us through a history of weddings and traditions in Scotland. I have to say I wondered at the old tradition of temporary (one year and one day) marriages, and I thought the symbolic gesture of the groom carrying a basket of rocks on his back was a nice idea.

Perhaps one to avoid is the lady's garter being removed by the best man! He'd better be the best man and a well trusted one! The lady by my side said she would have slapped him, if anyone was going there that day it was the man she just married.

All in all a good afternoon.

Congratulations sir on the news. I look forward to the photos.
