Newly kilted Canadian

I just received a kilt from Stillwater in the Nightstalker tartan. It's a pretty good kilt for casual wear. One thing to beware of - the picture of the Nightstalker tartan on their website is very misleading. On the site it comes across as a brown base, when in reality it is black. It's still nice looking, but not what I expected.

That is most likely due to different colorations of monitors. I thought it was a grey-ish base from my monitor.

You're probably right Chasem. And, in reality, it's probably not black, but a real dark charcoal. (yeah, I know, what's the difference)

The main thing is to remember about colors being different on your monitor.

It's still a nice looking kilt, I just have to coordinate differently.

Dave - do you have a picture of this kilt you could share? I love the look of this one on their website but it appears brownish-grey to me there. I'd like to see another picture of it.

I'll try to get a picture of it. I can tell you it has a black base with a grey pattern, with no brown at all.
