    hey from west Texas

    Just a halloo and intro from the middle of Texas which is ironically called West Texas (because of landform and weather)... Anyways, did the kilted grunge thing back in the day and was missing it a while back... so I ordered myself up a UK and a Stillwater kilt. Even talked a military NCO bud of mine into getting one too and he's promised to wear it about town some.

    As for intro: I'm a 30 something (for a while yet anyways) single guy, have some dogs that I treat like kids, do a fare bit of reading and audited some college courses this year just to reawaken my brain (can you hear that work is getting me down! LOL) From a blended family (Cajun, Scotch-Irish, Irish), so Mardi Gras and St. Paddy's are big occasions and purple thistle grows by the gate. A lot of the fam are musicians so all parties are a celtic affair.

    I'll prolly have plenty o' questions re. how to properly wear the kilt and colors. In the meantime, feel free to drop a line and say, "hey".

    Okay... back to the daily grind. Ciao!

    Greetings from Denver from a guy who went to school in West Texas. Wish that I had been kilted then.

    Are you stationed at Dyess?

    WELCOME!

    Welcome aboard! I live in Maryland, but I've been to Texas several times. In fact, I'll be in San Antonio for a conference during the last week of June.

    It really is a nice looking tartan. If it weren't for the fact that I have other tartans higher in priority on my wish list, I'd have a kilt made in it. Of course, there is the money factor.

    A hearty welcome to you.
    Just a bit of warning;
    This site just like kilt wearing is
    quite addictive.

    GMan -- where did you go to school? Wish I'd been kilted back in school, too . . . there probably would have been some interesting responses from the "Rexall Wranglers" in high school . . .

    Regards,

    Mark
