After Visiting Freedom Kilts two days, I would highly recommand a Freedom Kilt over a tartan kilts for the line of work that you do. The Freedom Kilts have pockets and you don't need to use a Sporran.

I have a Black Stewart from Stillwater kilts. For the Money, they are great. But they are warm.
