Well, we went over to the fete and what a great few hours it turned out. The mouthy lady was not there as it happened. Had nothing but compliments all the time we were there. Two women in particular thought it was absolutely fantastic to see a man wearing his welsh cilt proudly. Ive attached two piccys that were taken, the second was at what I am now calling my 'kilt school'. This chap enquired what tartan etc my kilt was. Several people overheard him say it and so they all gathered around while I explained to them all about welsh cilts. I should have been on comission with the welsh tartan centre. I rather enjoyed it.
Still, today is gonna be another kilted Sunday for me.

Graham .. firstly re the pictures. My neighbour was using our camcorder and I have just taken some stills from it. We usally do that .. capture whatever it is at the time and then go for the still. While the camcorder itself is excellent the facility to take stills is a little added feature but unfortunately the quality is really naff. Still at least its something. We will get around soon to a digi camera.
I should have mentioned that the fete was in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind ... there were several dogs there. However, whilst my cilt was quite popular, the grand star of the show was Charlie ... an eleven week old jet black labrador who has just started with a family for a twelve month of family intergration and puppy walking etc. He'll then move on to someone else for the proper guide dog training. I just had to attach these piccys of Charlie with the wife and me .. everybody just wanted to take him home.

Hmmm, seems kilts would be a way to help the dogs get to know a man in the way dogs seem to prefer to do their introductions.....

Alan ... Thanks for the compliments. Those two serious hotties you mention are both loyal Cilt supporters as it happens. They both think my Cilt is a 'cool piece of kit'.
