"Men's Premium Leather Kilt Goth Punk Gay Fetish Sz MED"

I'm not sure how I feel about some of the description words here. There may be some folks who consider a kilt a 'fetish'... but I doubt many of them are around here. Maybe I'm alone, maybe I'm oversensitive, but this product doesn't seem to be advertising towards the kilt wearer's I know on this board.

I do still reserve the option to recind my judgement, but for now, I just see this guy as an opportunist.

Yes, the very thought of all these kilted men here on this board has me in a fetish frenzy, stroking my shillelagh.

That thing just doesn't look right to me. I just don't like the laces at all or the style. I'd be more inclined to get a Union Kilt or an R Kilt

This one is a picture of the item, I'm not sure about the other one (and obviously the pic of Vin isn't.)

I'll try to put up a couple of better pics of my own tomorrow, if anyone's interested.

Where the UK has a narrow apron, this just has the decorated panel with a pleat on each side, like you see here.

Well, as much as I like my cloth UKs for everyday wear, "fetish wear" is the first phrase that came to mind when I saw the leather UK. It's taken a while for me to get used to the idea.

Believe me, I am not into any form of 'fetish' that I am aware of - but I do have five superb leather kilts in my 'Kilt Kollection'. All are extremely comfortable to wear and are practical, and I am frequently complimented on them.

That being said, I would feel very hesitant in ordering one of these 'Ebay' Gay Fetish kilts. The seller should be prosecuted for misrepresentation for a start. The photos (with possibly one exception) are of kilts other than his own! The Vin Diesel kilt is one that was tailored by Howie Nicholsby of "21st Century Kilts" in Edinburgh and the side-view is of one of the Union Kilts light leather kilts - neither represents this seller's "kilts".

My advice: leave well alone, or purchase with extreme caution.

I think the fact that our seller hasn't defended his auction says quite a bit. I'm not a huge fan of leather clothing (asside from the normal stuff, you know, like sporrans ;), but I would feel sorry for anyone who was duped by this auction.

Hamish, thanks for providing more definitive insight to the pictures.

    Cheers,
