Talking Another kilt added to my collection...

I just received the Irish National 9-yard wool-blend kilt that Chris had listed in the for sale section. Wow, it's fantastic! Something I can easily wear casually or dressed up. I'll be wearing it tomorrow to my favorite local watering hole, the Kilt & Caber pub. I'll post pics later.

I just ordered a nightstalker from Stillwater.

That brings me up to a total of 5.

    The week keeps getting better!

    Thanks guys!

This week is getting better! I was a bit down because I had yesterday and today off from work, and it's been raining like mad up here, to the point of record rainfalls and lots of flooding. Hard to do any yardwork when you need an Ark to get around!

However, yesterday the Irish National showed up in the mail, and today my brand new black Original Utilikilt arrived! WOOHOO!!!!! The UK is great, but I think I need to wash it a couple of times to soften the fabric a bit.

Two days, two kilts! Now if I could keep that up for a few months I might be able to surpass Hamish's total.

Think yourselves lucky, Al. Over here in this part of the United Kingdom, we've had the second driest winter on record. Our aquifers and reservoirs are at less than half their normal level for this time of year and, from next week we are likely to have a hosepipe ban imposed on us by the Water Authorities, for starters!!

Well, congratulations of your two new kilts, Al. but you still have a way to go - I've acquired three new kilts in the past week, bringing my total to 51 !!! I too am hoping to get photos up and running soon, at least in my Photo Album at IMFF, but time is against me at present. (If we had some wet, rainy weather I might be forced to remain indoors and could do something about that!). The new kilts? Two Utilikilts personally brought over to me by Megan of Utilikilts, with whom I enjoyed lunch yesterday, and a lovely tweed kilt from a somewhat surprising source! I'm saying nothing more until the photos are up....

Congrats Al, I love the Irish National, a beautiful tartan (unlike the Australian National).

Forget catching up with Hamish, still, I'm only 41 kilts behind him, if i live to 130 I might catch up.
