We went for a nice walk yesterday through one of the local forestry Commission areas and at the end called in this really old quaint pub we have frequented now and again for a real ale over the years. As we walked in the lady behind the bar said ' So your the Celt in the Cilt'. She then continued to say someone earlier had come in the pub and mentioned that they had seen a chap out walking wearing a cilt. Turned out it was the landlady behind the bar. We had a nice conversation, nothing to do with my cilt ... and Graham, No, she did not compliment me or say anything about my cilt... I must be loosing my touch, lol. The more I wear my cilt the more I find it like taking the dog for a walk. It certainly opens up conversations with folk you would never speak to or maybe just say hello when you are wearing jeans.
