We had a GREAT time sitting and talking at Brit's last night with Steve from FK and Robert from RK. The band was good, the dinner was good and the company was great! We had 8 peole in kilts at a table of 12.
It was good to finally meet and have a chance to sit down with you 2. I have new respect for both of your solid kilts (tartans are still better ;) ).
Safe trip home to both "Canadian Eh" and "Canadian B".

I had a wonderful time last night, great company of people to be with and a lot of laughs.
I had a great day offroading in the Pine Barrens in New Jersey. Going through water up to the windsheild, lots of mud flying all over. I impressed alot of folk with my Kia Sportage and of course my Camo kilt (But nobody saw me! go figure,
Thanks Rocky, Kelly and Steve and all the kilted brethern.
Cheers

I'm still going to Finnigan's Wake tonight if anyone hasn't yet reached their full drunktitude for the weekend. I'll be leaving in about 15-20 minutes.

And Ma-a-a-a-a-agnus, I'm ecstatic that you came to Finnigan's! That Pittsburgh Kilt that you have is AWESOME! The sheep won't see you approaching with that Camo!!!
Robert, it was GREAT that you made it and we met-up. The later sets that you were fortunate enough to miss got very "energetic".
The Irish Boxing Team that showed-up, danced and sang... also left very drunk and rowdy (shock, shock). The last I saw of them, they left in an extended taxi with a group of ladies that were celebrating an upcoming wedding. What a country!
Not a typical gig at Finnigan's Wake since the crowd was VERY "Irished-up" with the singing and dancing... and drinking. Quite fun from where I was standing!!!
Thanks for coming along guys! Hopefully you got to meet the Irish Voice photographer (Tommy), the boxers from Ireland, the band, and the variety of guests that came. It was an ecclectic mix that just seemed to gel and make the entire evening a huge party!

Sorry I had to miss out on Friday night. From the sound of things, I missed a good time. By the time I got out of work, it would have been about 1:30 by the time I got down there.

I've got some pictures of the band and some of the crowd (sorry... no pics of the boxing team... I was too busy dancing at the time!) But Jimmy, you're right, it was a great mix of people. Right about the time I was having the most fun, the bouncers were shooing us out at 2:00.
So what are the chances of seeing Barleyjuice at FW on Labor Day weekend? I've got Inaki & friends coming in from out of town and this is the last chance to show Inaki a fun night out before he gets deployed with the USMC overseas.

Rocky called me Friday night and left me a message saying you guys were on the way to the pub. Since I was in Charleston SC I knew it would be close if I tried to make it. By the time I got to Philly it was Sunday morning so I just turned around and went home.... ....jk
Oh well, maybe next time!!!!
