    Lawyers do Run the World

Great idea, but shouldn't it have a space to be notarized too??

Whilst not denying the wit of the card concept-I do question such a approach!

For might it not be contributing to the whole prurient interest in what is worn under the kilt-which in turn makes the kilt and kilt wearers the subject of questionable interest.

This in turn putting off men who otherwise might like to wear/try the kilt as a sensible form of attire. For they do not want to assume a way of dressing that attracts such unsavoury interest.

Therefore rather than encouraging such interest, should we not be adpting an attitude of dignified silence upon the whole matter?

I well accept that the above will consign me to the ranks of the reactionary stick in the muds-however if we want to encourage the wearing of such a garment as the kilt, it is incumbent upon us to encourage a climate where potential new wearers are not put off.

    Sorry James, I don't agree.

Perhaps it is a generational thing, IIRC, you are past 60. (My apologies if I'm wrong.)

The younger generation, of which I hardly qualify for membership, does like the kilt because of it's strong masculine attraction to the opposite sex. They don't mind the attention, and generally rather enjoy it.

The curiosity, or "prurient interest" is already there. It needs no encouragement on our part, and no amount of discouragement will make it go away. All we can do is deal with it in various manners. We can be rude, crude, calm, mean, prudish, lascivious or humorous. All those responses have their place.

This little card is nothing more than a little humor. Fact is, I'm thinking of adding the line of warning "Cautions! Things seen under a kilt might be larger than they appear!"
