A Visit to Kathy Lare, Kathy's Kilts
Just back from Albuquerque and had a chance to visit with Kathy Lare of Kathy's Kilts. A treat to get measured by the same person who's sewing up my kilt.
We're waiting on the fabric for my Macdonald of Kingsburgh traditional kilt. I'm very pleased with the work she did on my first tank. That's why I'm back. She was trained in the old ways in Scotland.
I'd known, but not known, about all the items that Kathy sells besides her handsewn kilts. Found some great kilt hose and flashes in her shop.
Main thing for this board is that she's a Marine mom too!

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
