She said in an exasperated tone that she knew that, but the kids insisted on having the pleats in front so they could look at them, and she had given up trying to correct them!
Honestly, most of the public would never know the difference.
Maybe we could suggest they take turns walking in front of one another so they can see pleats. Or just look at all the pipe bands!
