DFW Area Gunn's Scottish Invasion 7/23/05
I have been asked to pass this along. Please note it is not limited to the Gunn's of Texas but a count is needed. If your in the area and would like to attend PLEASE e-mail Royce at e-mail below or me and I will forward. Also, this seems to be a growing Scottish Invasion Date in some of the Texas Cities. So, 'Go Forth Kilted and Party'.
"We have designated this year's Scottish Invasion as Pappadeux's Restaurant in Arlington Texas on July 23, 2005 from 7:00pm-1:00pm. Please send your RSVP to: royce52@swbell.net. This is the central address we have established so that we can get more accurate count this year. Royce as well as several of our membes here are members to a number of different Scottish themed lists so this should help with the numbers. We need to get a final list to Ross within a few days, a week at the outset? "
Thanks and some of you Gunn's out there let us know your there!

Drat!! I'm going to be out of town!
I have been hoping to meet up with some of the DFW folks, but I've been too swamped at work to help put together a gathering myself!

Sham on Me...I screwed up!
I have been informed that this not not a Gunn only event!
Actually I've never know a TRUE GUNN only event...They kinda like to party and the more there are the better it gets, especially if there is a golden liquid of good quality that's been sitting around for 10 years or more involved...or the chance of someone bring more!
So I stand corrected, you got a kilt and want to party bring it on!

A six great grandmother of mine was Mary Gunne...emailed and asked to be put on the list for the next one. No time to gear up for it this year.

Drats. I'll be in Michigan. I gotta plan something up near Plano. If I have any fun, Arlington is too far to drive home from.

The last couple of years we have been trying to pull the DFW community more togather. That's why we keep doing stuff in the mid cities area,,attempting to attract as many as possible from both sides of the river.
