    sporran emergency!!

Hi Guys! I could use your help on this one...My day sporran is shot, and I need one ASAP so I have a sporran to wear to the Irish Fest on Saturday...Anyone know somewhere I can get a nice sporran FAST!? I mean, I'm willing to pay extra to have it overnighted, but I want a decent sporran. Thanks guys!

I know that Celtic Croft has some sporrans on hand. You would need to call them to be sure and to check on overnight shipping.

The Scottish Tartan Museum will also overnight if the item is in stock.

Hi Sav. I know that Rocky at USA Kilts saved my bacon last summer by express shipping a package to me for a wedding I was going to. He also sells the Buzz Kidder day sporrans, and a number of XMarks members sing the praises of those sporrans on here. They run $50, so they're a good deal. Nice and roomy too, from everything I've heard.

If you need to get a hold of Rocky or Kelly at USA Kilts, it's probably best to call them at the shop and order it that way...so they can get it shipped to you. (610) 650-USAK

I hope you get a sporran in time!

I've gotten two Buzz Kidder sporrans through the Scottish Tartans Museum and they are nice.

Rufus had a great idea about contacting USA kilts for a buzz kidder, but if you are willing to pay a bit more (depending on what you are looking for) give Bear at www.bearkilts.com a call and see if he has any freelander sporrans still available http://www.bearkilts.com/freelander.html or any of the other sporrans he offers http://www.bearkilts.com/sporranpg2.html

Thanks for all your help, guys! Dread: Yes! I stole your old avatar...I love it! Not only did I call USA Kilts, I actually made the trek out there! Yes, I drove 2 and half hours to go see Rocky in person and bought one of the well-reviewed Buzz sporrans. All of the good reviews are well warranted! Not only is this sporran good-looking, it's roomy and comfortable to wear also! Thanks again for your suggestions!

    P.S.
A sign of kilt addiction: I wasn't willing to drive an hour to see my ex-girlfriend at home, but I readily drove two and half hours to buy a sporran and some kilt hose...hmm, perhaps thats why she's my ex girlfriend!

I think (blush) SportKilts keeps some in stock and they ship everything Air Freight but call and talk to a human and get a solid promise...
