Stillwater Heavy - Black Shadow Tartan

Got my Stillwater HW Shadow today... very substantial garment.

The tartan is visible in light, and the kilt is a good weight. Pix online are representative of how the tartan looks.

All the features I was expecting are there and done well - sewn down pleats, loops, buckles all look good, lined. Apron is nice and wide...

Definitely a good buy in the $90-$100 range.

I wouldn't mind seeing more pics, closer up, of the various details (sewn pleats, buckles, selvedge, etc). Know what I mean? A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat! *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*

I've been trying to save up for a new kilt in my family tartan, but I may be forced to splurge for one of those.....very nice.....fortunately, at 6'3", 24inch is just the right length for me
