I'm in Mexico for the next several weeks, and down here, I think I'd just be asking for trouble if I wore a kilt. So I suffer. But that doesn't keep me from talking about them. So when a church group from Tennessee visited the Street Child Mission I'm working with, I pulled aside one of the Dads and said, "Hey. You ever worn a kilt?" He said he hadn't, but the idea sounded interesting. Then he said that his 17 year old son, who was also there, wanted a kilt very badly, but couldn't afford one. Everybody knows that all kilts are handmade and $500, right? So I gave him the XMarks website, the Stillwater website, Utilikilts website, and Sporrans.com and Kiltstore.net, so that he could drool over the expensive stuff if he wanted to.
BTW, has anybody ever heard the song Enter the Haggis does, the one about the Mexican Scot? It's a hoot.
