I only paid $40 canadian for a kids kilt at my local Scottish shop. These look more fitting for my daughter than my son. For the extra $5 (cheaper actually since it's a US site) I would prefer that his kilt looks like a kilt. I bought this one 2.5 years ago and it still fits (for a few more weeks anyway). http://www.tartantown.com/
For $15 more (and for older kids) check out Bear's page for Cub kilts http://bearkilts.com/cub/cubkiltspg.html
$50 US and the tartan selection is the same. I have only seen the Cub kilts on Cub, but they look like the same quality and design as Bear's casual kilts.
