    Another reason to love kilts

While I partook in all the glory of sun and summer this past weekend, I happen to notice that the shops are now bringing out their fall fashions. Did I miss something? Isn't it still the middle of July? Don't we have roughly 2 months left of summer?

Apparently if we want to wear shorts, bathing suits, or short sleeve shirts in the summer months we need to think about that in the cold rain months of March. So if you guys need any warm jackets and sweaters, better get them this week because come January the sandals will be for sale.

Now what does this have to do with kilts? Well my kilts work in all seasons, so if I want to buy a kilt today, I can still wear it next week, or in six months.

To Kilts!!! Thanks for not being part of the retail promotions calender!

    not quite true...
i find myself thinking that i NEED a different kilt to wear in different seasons. a heavyweight for the cooler times, a light weight for summer, a plain for somber occasions, a........somehow my wife doesn't buy the thinking. addictions are so much easier without a family...and everything else is so much harder! ;)
