I belong to Clann Tartan, a reenactment group based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Our focus is early 17th century Scotland. At that time King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden hired a lot of Scottish mercenaries to fight on the Protestant side in the 30 Years War. So we generally portray a Swedish recruiting camp in the Scottish highlands (The Swedish connection plays well in and around Minnesota). We also occasionally do other 30 Years War/ECW events.
We have a web site at http://www.clanntartan.org, which, alas, has not been kept current. I have complained about this....guess who now has the job of updating it.
