Sad, that with a board this size there's not enough interest to do both weights.

So much great work has been done to get to this point I hope we don't muck this up over the weights.

Given the choice, I opted for the 16 oz but if the choice of weight gets in the way I'll be perfectly happy with the 14. Don't let that slow things down.

I hereby publically say...."Steve, make the call. You decide from the results that you've gotten, whether we order 14 ounce or 16. I'm on board for either weight. I'll back your decision with my dollars, whichever way you go."

Though for the sake of my pocketbook, I really hope it's the 14 ounce!

    X Marks Tartan Vest

For anyone looking for less than a kilt, or extra, just got an email from Kathy Lare at Kathy's kilts. She'll make an X Marks Tartan vest from 1 yard for a full front and back vest or a front tartan vest for a half yard. I'm a big guy, about a 52 jacket and she knows that.

She also noted that the width is a bit more than what she usually gets from the mills so for me she'll probably have enough left over for flashes.

Steve, I'm with Alan, will buy what's ordered.

    Guys,

I have sent all the invoices for the X Marks Tartan out to those who ordered.

We will be getting the 14 oz fabric on this run.

I will send the weave order to Fraser & Kirkbright as soon as all the invoices have been returned.

Note to Hamish; I know your week is busy before you leave, so if you don't get your invoice I will see you at the Gathering.

I'm in and paid up for 4 meters. Wanna get still another yard for a vest and will pay for that as soon as I get the price.
