I have a Stillwater Irish National economy kilt (size 32) that I'd be more than willing to get rid of. You could possibly cut it up to make a fly plaid. $25 US + shipping if you want it.

I am sorry Sir but I wouldnt dare cut up a kilt :::shudders at thought::: to make a fly plaid. LOL that act would be going against nature, and bordering on sac religion (check spelling on that).
Right now I have the opportunity to get a piper plaid from stillwater, but I do not have a piper outfit, unless i could wear a piper plaid with a cullodeen shirt.

A piper's plaid is much larger and heavier than a fly plaid. Wearing a piper's plaid with a culloden shirt would look out of place. However, you could probably use the material of the piper's plaid to make a fly plaid.

Cory...the kilt I have is their economy version. As a "once in awhile pub kilt" for someone it's ok, but for anyone who wants a proper-looking kilt it's not very good. Jimmy will tell ya! It wouldn't be a shame at all to use this to cut up for a fly plaid.

Well I already paid stillwater for a fly plaid that he didnt have in stock, so he offered the piper plaid, but I turned that down, seemed it would be a rip off, I am too honest for that I guess. But in any case I am waiting for him to get the reg. fly plaids in stock and he will ship it right to me when he gets it.
No Biggie I can wait.
