I will be attending both. It will be my 2nd time to Syracuse Games. 4th time for Amherst Games (one building is airconditioning - it helps sometimes with the heat- due to lack of shade).

I do not think there is one in November in this area. Towards the end of September there is the Celtic Classic in Bethlem PA, 3 days of great craic, and its free. I have been to that one 3 times.. missed last years. I am planning to go.

It KILLS me to miss that, but miss it I will. My wife's company is sponsoring a family day at an amusement park in Lake George on the same day.

I hope to be at the Hunter Mountain Celtic Festival on Aug. 20 or 21, and at the Capital District Scottish Games on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

Ditto Ugly Bear's comments - too cold for games in November in NY state. We typically don't even play for Veteran's Day parades because it's too cold.

There are several other games this fall in New England, including the New Hampshire Highland Games in late September and two games in Connecticut in October.
